THAI NOODLES
Spicy noodles with veggies & black ants

Serves  4     Hours 1 h      Difficulty average

Ingredients
  • 250 grams noodles    
  • 6 gram black ants   
  • 175 gr taugé / bean sprouts  
  • 2 spring unions                              
  • 3 spoons of unburned peanuts 
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 spoons oil                                 
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1,5 tablespoon paprika powder
  • 2 dry red peppers  
  • 3 branches of basil
  • ​1 lime                                                                                                                              
​Method
  1. Boil the noodles like indicated on the package.
  2. Cut the garlic.
  3. Heat up 1 table spoon of oil in a wok pan.
  4. Add garlic, paprika powder, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and dry pepper and add black ants. Stir 3 minutes to make the ants soft.
  5. Add boiled noodles to the spices/oil mix and mix well.
  6. Mash peanuts until very fine.
  7. Cut the spring unions.
  8. Add spring unions, bean sprouts and mashed peanuts to the wok. Safe a few parts of spring union to garnish and mix until the vegetables are soft. 
  9. Slide noodles on a plate. Serve with sping unions, basil and lime. Enjoy!
